The President described the discussions with Kanye and his (Kanye’s) wife Kim Kardashian as “fruitful” and centring on “promoting Uganda’s tourism and the arts”.

The rapper on his maiden visit to the African Continent, is in Uganda to finish recording his new album Yandhi  that was meant to be released in September.

The pair are staying at a luxurious tourist lodge- Chobe Safari Lodge- within Murchison National Park in Northern Uganda. Their daughter North West is with them too.

The rapper was seen grooving away in a circulated video clip at his outdoor studio at the lodge which has been closed off to the rest of the public, till end of the West’s visit.
