Uganda’s contestant at the Miss World 2018 beauty pageant has aced the Miss World Africa 2018 title.

Quinn Abenakyo, current Miss Uganda won the Continental Queens award beating 20 other African contestants in the pageant at which she also made history by becoming the first Ugandan contestant to get to the top finals.

Mexico’s Vanessa Ponce de Leon won the Miss World 2018 title (photo below) while the first runner up was Thailand’s Nicolene Limsnukan. Quinn was second runner up.

Abenakyo was crowned Miss Uganda at Uganda’s Sheraton Hotel on August 10th 2018. 

Quinn made it to the finals after winning the Head-to-Head challenge against Argentina’s Victoria Sonto.
